Creating apps for clients
This year, I’ve started using a new service that allows me to create apps of a mini-gallery for my clients. It’s a great way for me to bridge the gap between people who want digital files but don’t know why.
Selling (or worse, giving away) digital files doesn’t really help my clients. Most times, these files end up sitting on a hard drive, sometimes shared socially but never becomes part of their lives. It’s just something that happened in the past. Over time, those files will get lost and no one will even remember. That is the last thing I want for my clients but I still recognize that importance of sharing digitally. That’s why I started using this service to create apps. These mini galleries can be run on any smartphone or tablet and then you can show it off to friends or share through all your social media options.
This sample I made with photos I took at Pawsh Dog Boutique, my favorite pet store in Boston. Take a look and give it a try. I’d love to hear your feedback on this. I include it when my clients purchase prints so they can share the photos that we created together.
Open this link below on a smartphone or tablet to be able to create the app. It’s best on a wifi network but not required.
